This page has been created by myself and has been utilized to provide examples of my photography skills. I have shared this page with individuals over the past few years that were interested in seeing what skills I have established. The goal is to then see if anyone had any interest in utilizing my services and knowledge base for their photos that needed to be taken.

Keep Calm & Make Soap

In 2017, I had the excellent opportunity to contribute my photography skills for an article that Dee DeJames was writing for the publication “Life In The Finger Lakes”. The article was about the journey of the business “Kingsley Street Soaps” and the path that led them to a very popular and appreciated line of soaps. What an excellent opportunity this was to have my photos published in a magazine that was very widespread across the world as well as it’s subscribers.

Biography

My name is Matthew Hrusecky. I’ve been an on and off college student for many years now. I graduated from Maine Endwell High School in June of 2005. I was truly appreciative of a Photography course I took while in high school and it gave me a desire to be creative and appreciate what I was learning. I enjoyed staying to myself as I felt the true person I was could not flourish while walking the halls of a high school. In my mind it seems like I graduated high school just yesterday, but this was in fact 15 plus years ago now. I decided to go to Broome Community College as the location was within my hometown and I wanted to remain local with all of my family that lives in the area. I was unsure as to what direction to go in when I graduated high school and I only knew at the time to remain true to my interests and follow a path where I could gain more knowledge. Photography, media, filmmaking, audio theory. These are just a few of the courses I would be able to take while seeking my Associates in Communications & Media Arts. In 2008, I successfully earned my Associates in Communications & Media Arts and it truly was a gift to have achieved that goal and to have been successful. At this point in my life I was working at Panera Bread and I had been seeking a new job for quite some time. I successfully was able to find a job with Visions Federal Credit Union in the Fall of 2011 as a full time Member Service Representative. In the time since I started to work for a new company, I had dropped my hours down to part time in the Fall of 2016. I was going through a rough patch in life and needed some time to reevaluate where I stood and what I felt I needed to do. In this time I was able to start to work towards my associates in Business Information Management and this upcoming Spring Semester in 2021, I will be taking my final course. The decision to go in this avenue was one of remembering that I work for a company that cares about my education and wants to see my knowledge grow and expand. The classes and degree itself do relate to my current position and will be an excellent resume builder when seeking a new job within my current company. The advantage of having this degree is that it’s very universal. I can stay within my current company or seek employment elsewhere. In the end I can still appreciate my passion for creativity, as well as to make a living with the proper educational background. To feel that I’m utilizing both worlds in my life as I continue on this journey.

Pet Photography

Portraits for Pets

A professional photographer can take photos for a variety of occasions. Those occasions can include birthdays, weddings, graduation photos, and even professional photos of your pets. , dogs, birds, rabbits…just to name a few pets that I have taken professional photos of in the past. Having professional photos of your pet are important as they serve a very important part of our lives. The same criteria follows with the distribution of photos  on digital media when the photo session is complete. Pet photos can potentially take time as the mood and comfortability of the animal will play a role.

Prices for a session with your furry loved one are based on the length of time taken to get those perfect photos. 1 Hour is $75.00 and every 30 minutes thereafter is $30.00.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me and we can discuss further. Visit my Facebook Business Page for any additional examples from my Portfolio.

About my Photography Business

Since I was very little, I have had a passion for creativity and media. This outlet can present itself in many avenues with one of them being Photography. I have been in love with the idea of capturing moments and preserving them for the years that are to come. Taking photos for others truly started with wedding and birthday party’s and that was only the beginning for my journey. My work hasn’t gone unnoticed and I had the opportunity to photograph for a local business and their products. Life in the Finger Lakes published a story with my photos.

I’m located in Johnson City, NY and work on an appointment basis. We will meet up and discuss exactly what it is that you’re looking for. From that point, pricing will be discussed and then schedule a time that works best for the customer. Your photos will stand out and my goal is for others to notice your photos and inquire about who took the photo. All photos will be on digital media. I do not offer prints, but can provide options from my peers who also run their own businesses.

For first time customers, I offer a special discount. As well, if you were referred by one of my previous customer, there is a special offer. The base rate for 1 hour is 100.00. When 4 hours is exceeded, the hourly price will drop to 75.00. Wedding Photography costs will be discussed in person.

As I look into my lens, I strive for excellence and capturing those moments that will last a lifetime.
